This impressive statue depicts San Carlo Borromeo, an important 16th century Catholic saint originally from Arona. The work is approximately 35 meters high and is located on a hill called<strong>\u201cLa Rocca di Arona,\u201d<\/strong>from which it offers a spectacular panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
